These guys may not be using motorized vehicles but Rampage is, in my opinion, the gnarliest event involving bikes and one of the craziest sport competitions that exists today.
The video above is the course preview with the very funny and talkative Claudio Caluori. He has a few videos of him narrating different courses... I don’t know how me manages to speak, breathe, and not fall over all at the same time.
The event will be streaming live from Utah today at 12.30 PM EST. Since the finals are happening on Saturday tomorrow might be qualifying runs (I’m not certain about that though) . Edit: The event is happening today! It was originally scheduled for Saturday but changed due to weather concerns. Catch it at:

Oh I just saw that Red Bull uploaded some GoPro footage of a few qualifying runs. Here’s one. I got nervous just watching it.

I’ve watched quite a few rampage videos from this year and I still have no idea what the course(s) look like.....

How familiar are you with how the event runs? Riders spend a week building their own unique lines on the face of the mountain. So almost everyone is riding a different “track”. Gotta watch the actual event to see what everyone came up with.

You know things are insane when fisheye lens makes it look steep, so their runs are actually on more of an incline than I can even imagine, and the footage doesn’t need to be edited because the raw cut is enough to give people the seat tingles.
Sidenote whenever Claudio narrates I just imagine Mario sounds the exact same way when facing Bowser.

The last Rampage I really watched was from the 2003 event DVD around that year, it’s been a while since I’ve followed it.....
And holy crap I just looked up when it airs live, need to set an alarm so I remember to watch it. This will be fun.
